5. Is the learning fully online, and what platforms do you use?

Yes, all learning is done fully online. Live lessons are conducted via the ClassIn platform, complemented by offline learning materials. This setup provides flexibility for students, regardless of location

6. How and when can students start their courses?

Britannia International Academy offers multiple flexible intakes throughout the year, depending on the program. Typical entry months include:

  • February

  • November

  • For the International Foundation Diploma (L3IFDHES), students can choose full-time (1 year) or part-time (2 years) formats, aligning their start date with upcoming intakes.
  • For the British and American curriculum pathways, students can often begin immediately after enrollment and complete courses at their own pace, within structured academic timelines.

7. What are the minimum entry requirements for each program?

Entry requirements vary by program, but here’s a breakdown of the general criteria,

  1. British Curriculum (Reception to Year 13 – including IGCSEs & A-Levels)
  • Reception to Year 9: No formal academic prerequisites; placement based on age and prior schooling.
  • IGCSE (Years 10–11): Students should typically be 14–16 years old with prior instruction in core subjects.
  • A-Level (Years 12–13): Completion of IGCSE or equivalent (e.g. Year 11 or Grade 10), preferably with a strong performance in relevant subjects.
  1. Level 3 International Foundation Diploma (L3IFDHES)
  • Age: Must be 16 years or older.
  • Academic: Completion of at least Grade 11 / Year 12 or equivalent in your local education system.
  • English Language:
    • Minimum IELTS 4.5 (or equivalent)
    • Students with IELTS <5.5 take 4 core modules + 2 electives
    • Students with IELTS ≥5.5 take 3 core modules + 3 electives
  • If you don’t have IELTS, a free English placement test is available through the academy.
